My practice is centred around the spaces I inhabit, my skin, my memory and the roles, which I find myself playing. These roles in turn centre around the domestic space, which although it is a largely overlooked space, is loaded with preconceptions. My work explores that sense of being constantly watched and measured, observed and observing in turn. It poses questions about the repetition, struggle, drudge and entanglement, which take place in the domestic environment, and looks at the restrictions imposed by the accepted perceptions of these roles.
