Title

1. Chatterbox, 2. ISTD competition_Fourplay book

Description

  1. Conversation has widely disappeared from Irish streets and Chatterbox has the aim of bringing it back. It will encourage people to talk again with the creation of conversation friendly environments around the city. The campaign focuses on using lunch and commuting as times when instigating chat becomes normal again. There are also three interactive installations where people record their conversations or listen to others played aloud. These and other areas in the city can become points of congregation and also integration as chatterboxes meet to talk.

2. The title of my book for entry into the ISTD competition is Fourplay, in reference to the investigation into the four experimental typefaces inside. Fourplay stimulates and excites, it demonstrates curiosity and investigation into both old and new innovative techniques, in typeface design.
