Title   Marilyn Monroe - Rod Puppet       Description   I made a rod puppet of Marilyn Monroe. The model is inspired by the famous performance “Happy Birthday Mr. President”.. The puppet is made from fiber-glass. It is approximately 30inches tall. The puppet is operated from underneath using rods to hold the body up and to move additional body parts i.e. arms, legs and head. Mechanisms inside the head operate the eyel blink and mouth movement. I made a short film to show the puppet as it is operated by puppeteers. Also I design two A1 posters to help promote the puppet
